Hi! I’m Wendy from JustMeAndMyBlog.com
I am 41 and a wife to the love of my life. We have been married for 12 years and I couldn’t even imagine being without him.
I graduated from high school but chose not to go to college. Since graduating I have had different jobs. I worked in retail, in a factory, and had my own craft stand at a flea market. For the past few years, I have mostly been doing either 3d work on the computer or crafts to make some money to help with the household bills. I have been doing 3d work for probably 9 or 10 years now. It’s just something that I don’t think I could ever give up. I sell my 3d graphics as tubes (Paint Shop Pro tubes), and I also sell prints of my work. In case you are wondering, a tube is an image with a transparent background. They are really popular in the world of tagging. A lot of my tubes are used for tagging or making scrap kits to go with tubes. I also make backgrounds using 3d programs and Photoshop. I love working in Photoshop!
Besides my graphics work, I love to crochet, knit, sew, make jewelry with polymer clay, make beaded jewelry, make vinyl decals, cross stitch, read and play video games. As you can tell, I have many hobbies 🙂
My husband works full time as a conductor/engineer for the railroad. I have health problems which keep me from working anymore. So now, I’m pretty much a stay at home wife. That is where this blog comes into play. Hubby and I are barely making ends meet and I need to do something. We are literally robbing Peter to pay Paul.
I was on Pinterest the other day looking for ways to bring more money into the household and found Suzi from StartaMomBlog.com
She immediately caught my attention (even though I’m not a mom). Although, I do have fur-babies, lol! I have often thought about blogging but didn’t know the first thing about getting started. So, I took Suzi’s course and here I am!
I have a very busy life with taking care of the pets and the house, and making sure hubby has clean clothes, lunches, and making supper. I have learned how blogging is very flexible and can be done at your own pace. I knew it would be perfect for me.
My main goal for this blog is to help my readers with everyday life, and to make money 😀 I also want to help you learn new skills. I will have tutorials on how to knit, crochet, use Photoshop, use 3d programs, polymer clay, beading, and so much more! So, if you want to learn, you’ve come to the right place!
I will also be researching and exploring new things all the time.
I am super excited to try this and can’t wait to see where I am 5 years from now! I hope to make lots of new friends and help with your problems or questions.
Thank you so much for visiting and I hope you enjoy your stay!
